Jon was admitted to Kaiser Walnut Creek on March 11 with the flu and acute pneumonia. Over the next week, his condition rapidly deteriorated, and he was eventually moved to the ICU. He is currently sedated, intubated, and in a RotoProne bed to help his lungs heal. Unfortunately, he is now facing kidney complications and has started dialysis on top of everything else.
The doctors are optimistic but the situation is extremely serious and they have expressed the fact that this could be fatal.

We maintain hope that he will pull through and are looking ahead to what comes next. It's impossible to know how long Jon will be hospitalized, and even harder to predict how long his road to recovery will be. Since Jon is self-employed as a contractor, we're hoping to raise funds to help cover living and medical expenses so he can focus on getting better.
Any funds raised will also support Jon's kids, Giovanni and Isabella. We want them to be able to continue on with as much normalcy as possible, and to be able to spend time with their dad as soon as he's able.

We all appreciate any way you can support Jon, whether that's a donation or simply sending love his way. We'll post here as often as possible to keep everyone updated on his progress.
With love,
The Teames Family
