Help Jon Peck Complete The Speed Project Journey

My names Jonathan Peck, most call me JP and I'm organizing this in order to raise funds for my solo run starting in Los Angeles three hundred plus miles to the Las Vegas sign. This is known as The Speed Project. It's been happening for almost two decades and I'm grateful for the opportunity to go on the journey. The endeavor will take me roughly six days thats with everything going according to plan. I will crewed by a few individuals I trust but will also be sharing the roads with other solo runners and run crews.

The funds raised will be used for travel expenses such as my crews flights to LA and from Vegas as well as our RV/Camper that will be following along with me. Other expenses include gas, food, and gear/supplies to get me to the finish. None of this is possible without all who can contribute to making this the safest trip possible.

The Why?

Plenty of reasons! But to name a few... the curiousity in seeing my body and mind are capable of doing. Using my body and privilege to also raise funds/resources for marginalized groups and communities that are in need. As an artist and an athlete I'm constantly striving to understanding the human condition through any and all conditions that test us to our utmost limits. There is also so much happening in the world and I'd like to raise awareness for those things and do what I can with whats within my current abilities to the fullest extent.
