Hi my name is Sabrina and my friends currently need all the help they can get. My friend Jon Haase was rushed to the ER on July 10th for functional seizures while in Racine for work training. He had 3 severe seizures before even arriving at the hospital which could have killed him if his wife, my best friend Mia Haase, wasn't so quick to get him medical attention. Jon was later transferred to the ICU at St. Luke's Hospital in Milwaukee. Jon and Mia are from Orfordville which is an hour and half drive one way. She has been staying with her mom since Jon has been in the ICU. They just got married last month on the 21st of June, they have a 6 year-old daughter named Paisley and are the kindest people I know. Prior to this Mia was unable to work for a couple weeks due to her own medical issues and hasn't been able to work with Jon in the ICU. They are behind on rent and are in jeopardy of being kicking out of their home with no relief in sight. Jon has a long road to recovery with physical therapy, figuring out the medications to improve his condition, possible surgery and rebuilding the strength that he is losing being laid up in the ICU. They are unsure if they will be able to do inpatient or not and he will not be able to return to work upon being released or might have to be on permanent disability.
