My name is Dave Garvin and I am fundraising on behalf of Jon Medina and his family. Jon is a great husband, father, and friend of mine for over 30 years. Jon has been battling Terminal Grade 4 Glioblastoma Brain Cancer since March 2018. After five brain surgeries, countless rounds of chemotherapy, and clinical trial treatments and studies; Jon is still fighting. The chemo treatments have taken a huge toll on his daily life, his health, and quality time with his family. Knowing how aggressive this disease is, we are so lucky to still have him with us, however, we are hoping for a miracle.

 

Jon and Vicky have been married for 20 years and have 2 amazing kids, 12-year-old twins. Jon was an electrician for 35 years and Vicky was an elementary school teacher who left teaching behind to care for Jon. Both are selfless, lovely people who would not ask for your help.... so that's why I am here asking for your donations to help their families with medical bills and future costs regarding education for their children. Since Jon has not been able to work for the past two years, it has been tough to put money aside for an education for their children. They know the value of a college education and your donation will help achieve that goal. Please donate whatever you can and let others know of Jon's fight against brain cancer!
