Help Jon fight a 1 in a million disorder SPS

Donation protected
My name is Amanda, this is my husband Jon, he is a loving husband, Dad, and Grandpa. He was recently diagnosed with a rare disorder called Stiff Person Syndrome. Only 1 in one million people have this disorder. SPS is often misdiagnosed as MS, Parkinson’s, or in Jon’s case a vitamin D deficiency. SPS is an autoimmune disease that effects muscles and joints. The brain does not communicate properly with the muscles, there is no cure and if left untreated this disease if fatal. He spent a month in the hospital learning to walk again, with the help of treatments and physical therapy. We are not the kind of people to ask for help, but under these circumstances it is a must. We need help with both medical and our monthly bills. We also have to move out of our current apartment. Jon needs a home with little to no stairs, as they can be difficult if not impossible for him to manage. Jon is very active in the Eau Claire community. He has been a coach for Eau Claire Legion Baseball for over 15 years. He is an athlete and very competitive. He is fighting this disease with everything he has. His goal is to walk out to coach 3rd base this summer without the assistance of a walker. I believe with the help of physical therapy, and the support of his friends and family, he will be on that field this summer. To see more of his story, weau.com and type Jon Rauch in the search bar. Thank you for your help.
New update on Jon coming soon. It has been about a year since his diagnosis.
