Help Jon Cottrell’s fight against Brain cancer

Well today is the start of the next part of my journey.
Today is my first day of radiation and chemo therapy. I took these photos on my way to my radiologists office.
The last 2 photos were taken at my radiologist after my treatment.

All those little dots on my forehead are from the mask that I wore during radiation, the mask helps hold me head in place so I can’t move and the radiation can hit just the specific spot.
And this is how it all started:
5 weeks ago I had blacked out driving and crashed into a fence. Minor damage to my truck and all the damage was done to the fence, and no one else was injured. I got checked out with my primary physician and they thought I had a small seizure so I should get an MRI done to make sure nothing else was going on with my brain.
Fast forward a few days and the MRI was done and that same day I got a call at 11:30 at night saying I need to go to the ER now.
In the morning we had learned that they found a tumor on my MRI that was a little bigger than the size of a large egg and was going in for surgery the following morning.

We had waited for a little over 2 weeks for the biopsy to come back. Then we had learned that it was an anaplastic astrocytoma grade 3 making it cancerous. I have been staying at home with my family recovering and thought it was time to share.
My journey: Daily chemo + Radiation for 6 weeks then up to 12 rounds of just chemo.
The donations I receive will help with medical bills and living expenses until I'm allowed to return to work.
