Help my Twin Brother Jon Beat Cancer.

Hello, my name is David Wood and I am writing this in behalf of my twin brother Jonathan Wood and his family.

Two weeks after the birth of my brother’s little girl Adalyn, he was informed by a gastroenterologist of a 5 cm tumor in his colon. He has been since diagnosed with Stage 3B Colon Cancer with possible lymph nodes involved.

My brother served his country honorably in the 75th Ranger Regiment from 2006 – 2011. With three combat deployments, he has suffered from right sided brain damage. A fact only recently discovered and something that was never disclosed to him by the VA until these past two months.

My brother’s tenacious attitude and will to see his children grow up, has driven him to find the best care. He has sought out treatment from highly trained doctors located two hours away and a talented surgeon as well.  He has to travel four times a week or more for the treatment.

Because of this logistical burden he is unable to work full time or even part time for his family. He has also encountered extra medical costs not covered by insurance.

Jon has given so much for others and has literally put his life on the line. I'm humbly asking for prayers on their behalf and any financial assistance during this time. Thank you.
