Help Support Jon Lewis and Carla Palmer through their cancer journeys.

Our dear friends and coworkers, Jon Lewis and Carla Palmer, are facing unimaginable challenges right now. Both have been diagnosed with cancer within months of each other. Despite their strength, optimism and love for one another, they need our help as they navigate treatment and surgeries, recovery and the financial burdens that come with such diagnoses.

Jon’s Story:

In March 2025, Jon was diagnosed with Appendiceal Adenocarcinoma, Stage 4, a rare and aggressive cancer. Since his diagnosis they have been traveling back and forth to MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX for treatment. This December, Jon and Carla will be staying at The Rotary House in Houston for weeks while he undergoes an extensive surgery and another round of intensive treatment.

Carla’s Story:

Just as Jon began his fight, Carla received a cancer diagnosis of Invasive Lobular Carsinoma, a form of breast cancer. She has undergone surgery for a partial mastectomy on October 16, 2025, and has been recovering at home while continuing to support Jon through his treatments; showing incredible grace and resilience through it all.

How Can You Help:

Jon and Carla are both selfless, hardworking and loved by everyone who knows them. As they focus on healing, we’d like to ease their financial stress and help cover ongoing medical costs, travel to and from Houston, lodging while they are there and day-to-day living needs during this difficult time.

In addition, before their diagnoses, Jon and Carla had planned a special trip together. With your generosity, we’d love to help make that trip more comfortable.
