Help Us Rebuild After Losing Everything in a Devastating Fire

My name is Jomarie Salvaña, and I am writing this with a heavy heart to share the devastating loss my family and I have recently endured. A few days ago, a fire broke out in our neighborhood, starting in a neighbor’s house. The fire spread quickly, destroying everything in its path. Within hours, our home – the place I shared with my sister, Neriza Chavez, and our family – was completely reduced to ashes.

The fire not only destroyed our home but also affected everyone in the area, leaving the entire neighborhood uninhabitable. Like many of our neighbors, we lost everything we owned – our belongings, our memories, and the only place we called home. Now, we find ourselves without a stable place to live. All of our nearby family members were also affected by the fire, so we have no one to turn to for shelter.

This tragedy has left Neriza and me struggling to provide a sense of stability for our family. We have taken refuge wherever we can, but these temporary solutions are far from permanent. Our greatest need right now is to find a safe and secure place to live and to replace the essential items we lost.
