My name is Jolie Wilson, and I’m reaching out for support during a really difficult time in my life. I live with an autoimmune disease called Ulcerative Colitis, which causes frequent health issues and requires me to see my doctors regularly. My specialists are located about two hours away from where I attend college at Rutgers University, so having a reliable car is absolutely essential for my health and daily life.

Recently, my car broke down, and I don’t have the funds to fix or replace it. As a full-time college student, I don’t have an income, which makes handling unexpected expenses like this almost impossible. Without a working car, I can’t get to my medical appointments, to class, or even home when I need to. Trying to manage a chronic illness while also worrying about transportation has been incredibly overwhelming.

I’m hoping to raise enough to get my car repaired or replaced so I can continue staying on top of my health and my education.
