Hi folks, my name is Jolie, and I'm desperately hoping to raise funds to treat my trigeminal autonomic cephalalgia (CH type). "Suicide headaches" as they're so rightfully called. Simply put, the most extreme pain you can possibly experience in your head. You literally feel like you've died the most horrendously painful death but realize somehow you're still alive. It's difficult to explain to those unfamiliar to this type of extreme pain. To treat them, I need injections that are given at the onset of an attack. It's $212 CAD for each script. Each script will treat 2-3 attacks. I get at least one major attack a day that renders me completely useless for the rest and even into the next. I feel like the degree of pain puts my body into a state of shock. I'm not recovered by the time the next attack hits. These injections help abort the attack. I cannot stress enough how this is absolutely life-saving!!! The breakthrough cycles I've had in recent years last for weeks or months. I have no way of knowing how long this one will be. Not months, God willing.

A little back story. I suffer from two different chronic migraine disorders. I've suffered since I was a child. The TAC CH joined the party in my early teens. I'm on multiple meds/treatments for both migraine disorders. I had government coverage for my injections, but they stopped covering them last year. They cover one treatment for my other migraine disorder and, after covering both for years, up and decided they will now only cover the one. I absolutely have no way to afford these injections. I've already used credit to acquire a script, and I don't know how I'll pay that off either.

I know everything is unaffordable these days, and many are facing hard times. I am embarrassed. I am ashamed. I am also desperate and unable to deal with the pain this disorder brings. I'm already living in chronic daily pain from other health issues and dealing with much stress and hardship. I am forever grateful for any help you may be able to offer.
