Help Jolene Through a Tough Battle
Donation protected
Hi everyone, my name is Chris, and I’m reaching out today on behalf of my incredible wife, Jolene.
Right now, Jolene is facing one of the hardest battles of her life, and I’m hoping we can come together as a community to help her through it.
For the past 16 months, Jolene has been struggling with multiple serious health issues, including atrial fibrillation (afib), Stage 4 liver disease, and most recently, pancreatic necrosis. She’s been out of work for over a year due to her health, and she’s currently hospitalized at Allegheny General. While surgery hasn’t been scheduled yet, there’s fluid around her pancreas that doctors need to drain before they can determine the next steps.
This journey has been incredibly exhausting for her, both physically and emotionally. On top of her medical challenges, Jolene has been battling depression, which even led to a stay at Millcreek for treatment. Through it all, she has remained one of the most caring, selfless people I know. Jolene is the kind of person who would drop everything to help someone else, always putting others’ needs ahead of her own—even while facing her own hardships. But right now, she needs our help and so do I.
Jolene has never been the type to ask for assistance, and honestly, I know she’d feel uncomfortable knowing I’m sharing this. But as her husband, I want to make sure she has the support she deserves during this incredibly difficult time, and I would like to be by her side but unfortunately I cannot stop working to travel down to Pittsburgh.
This is where I’m hoping you might come in. Whether it’s helping with medical bills, day-to-day expenses, or simply offering words of encouragement, any bit of support will mean the world to us. It’s been a long and difficult 16 months, and while Jolene is incredibly strong, she shouldn’t have to face this fight alone.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this, and for any support you’re able to give—financially or emotionally. Your kindness truly means everything to both of us.
With gratitude,
