I am facing a tough time right now. My leg needs surgery, but I can't work because of a bad heart, and the process of getting SSI is taking forever. On top of that, I struggle with major depression and ADHD, which makes everything harder. My family doesn't deserve this life, and even though I know it's not my fault, I can't help but feel responsible. We have three little fur babies who bring us so much joy, but the stress of caring for them is overwhelming since I can barely afford their food. SNAP helps with my own food, but not theirs.
