Jojo is my sweet, two-legged rescue cat who has already overcome so much in her short life. She lost her back legs as a newborn after being found tangled in wires under a bed, and sadly, she never received the treatment she needed at the time. Despite her challenges, Jojo has shown incredible strength and resilience. Recently, she gave birth to five beautiful kittens, though heartbreakingly, one did not survive due to a birth defect. Jojo has been a devoted, loving mother to her babies, and her gentle spirit shines through every day. She snuggles her babies like they gave her a purpose, holding them with so much love and purring every night as they sleep together.

Unfortunately, Jojo’s back legs are now causing her significant pain and making it very difficult for her to walk. After consulting with a vet and sending photos, we were referred to an orthopedic animal specialist. The estimated costs for amputation, prosthetics, and rehabilitation for both legs are overwhelming, but I am determined to give Jojo the chance she deserves. Every penny we raise will go directly to her care and her kittens. Jojo’s pain could be increasing due to how she has to walk, and I can tell her back is beginning to suffer. She needs treatment as soon as possible to prevent further suffering and give her a real chance at a happy life. I want nothing more than to see her quality of life improve so I can watch her live a happy, comfortable life with her kittens.
