Help JoJo Heal from His Past Trauma

JoJo is a handsome 3-year-old who, apparently, had quite a traumatic life before he came into rescue. This little man has been with NJSRN for a year and has made progress, but just baby steps. He is very anxious with new sounds, new people, especially men, and anything out of the ordinary.

This week, we took him to a Training center for evaluation. It was tough to get him out from underneath a chair, even with the yummiest treats.

We were very impressed with this training facility and felt that they could really boost JoJo’s confidence. We really liked the trainer’s gentle, slow approach and how they would work with him.

The owner of the facility gave us a generous discount but even with that, it is a pricey undertaking for a rescue organization.

JoJo is a dear, sweet boy who just needs a chance. We are hoping that our Rescue friends can chip in and help us give him the training he needs to live a normal, happy, carefree life.
