Help join forces in Ash’s fight.. #ripperstrong

For those of you who know Ash, know the request for help didn’t come easy. It has been through hours of conversation to convince Ash, that her and Dustin are going to need help and support from those that stand in her corner, not just financially, but in every way possible. I had to basically beg her to put her “stubbornness” aside to let all those who love/care about her rally together to help.

I am asking everyone, please be mindful on how hard it is to share this news with everyone especially on such a public platform, not only for Ash, but for Dustin, Landyn, Kaydance, Mackenzie as well as the rest of their family. But this is the best way to reach all those who would like to help.

Ash has recently received some devastating news regarding her health… the last few months have been rollercoaster of good days and not so great days … misdiagnosis and lots of testing. She has been diagnosed with colon cancer that has spread to her liver (a couple spots) She will undergo surgery this week so she can start to gain some strength back so she’s ready to start fighting back.

Ash being the strong woman she is, is ready to face this upcoming battle head on and give it everything she’s got. It definitely will not be easy but she is going to fight and fight hard.

She will be starting chemo in the next couple weeks and in the mean time plans to keep on still living her day to day life, staying positive, working a few days a week, taking the kids to their activities and being the amazing, wife, mother and friend she’s always been. One of her biggest hopes during this journey is that no one treats her any differently. Her request is that life continues as it always has and nothing is different. I know these coming days/weeks and months ahead are not going to be easy for Ash, Dustin or the kids. This is where I am asking for everyone that knows Ash, Dustin and the kids to rally together and support not only my best friend but a best friend to so many.

Ash is one of the strongest people I know and I assured her the point of this gofundme is only to allow those who want to help do just that, regardless of value anything helps.

Dustin is going to have to take some time off work to stay beside the love of his life and battle this together. While also trying to keep the kids life and schedules as normal as possible. Financial stress is one thing they should not have to worry about during all of this. The main focus is Ash’s health and recovery.

The out pouring of love and support will be greatly appreciated and needed but receiving mass amounts of texts and calls can become overwhelming at this time.

I am asking on behalf of Ash, Dustin & family for everyone to feel free to leave words of encouragement, strength, love and support below. I assure you when they are ready each and every message will be read, needed & appreciated.

I will do my best to keep everyone updated on here on how things are going and if there is anything else we can band together to help with.
