Help Johny's wife get surgery
Hi, I'm Jonathan Holeton, I met my wife Arlajer (Arla) Daza Holeton back in 2012 online. She lives in the Philippines and I live in Alberta, Canada. We are 10,956km away from each other. We started dating online and then in 2014 I visited Arla and her family, and that's when I proposed to her. I flew back to Canada and we've been communicating through Facebook.
In 2016, I finally flew back to the Philippines and on April 20th, 2016, we got married. I returned to Canada with my ring, but not with Arla. We haven't seen each other in person in 2 years now. I live on disability insurance (AISH) and send the money I have to support my wife and her two children. Thanks to the generosity of our friends, I've raised enough to pay the fees to sponsor Arla to come to Canada as a Permanent Resident, and my friend Eric is helping me get all the documentation together to submit, hopefully by the end of August. Once she comes here, she will be able to work and things will get a lot easier financially, and we will be reunited.
Unfortunately, a week ago I received bad news about Arla's health. She told me, on July 22nd, 2018 that she felt a hard mass in her abdomen, where her liver and gall bladder are. My kind friend Norman lent me $150 so she could get an ultrasound right away. Her doctor says she has an ovarian cyst the size of a basketball. If you look in the photo you'll see it's distending her stomach. (she's got a tattoo that says "Arjohn" which is the combination of our names Arla + Jonathan.)
The surgery to remove the ovarian cyst and check if it's cancerous costs close to $3,000 Canadian at the hospital in Calamba Laguna where Arla would go. Arla doesn't have PhilHealth (the health insurance that would cover some of the costs of the surgery and biopsy). I asked her if she could start paying for PhilHealth, but it wouldn't kick in until September, and we're both worried if we wait too long, it will be too late.
I'm having financial difficulty, not getting enough Video Marketing or VFX work at the moment, my site for that is www.mindwavestudios.com. I'm trying various ways of making money through my art work, drop-shipping on one of my websites, www.effectswear.com and working on my Berry Bunny project to hopefully help people especially children deal with their emotions at www.berrybluebunny.com
Please help us if you can. Any amount, even $5 with many people adds up. If you can't we understand, please share.
I really don't want to lose my wife. I just lost my best friend Gina to cancer 11 months ago, I'm praying I won't lose Arla. Please pray and send good thoughts.
If you'd like, I can do a nice water colour painting of one of your family's favourite locations you all love to go to, for you donating to help Arla.
God bless you all and thank you for taking the time to read our story. I really appreciate any help you can do, either donation or shares.
