My name is Beau, and I’m a single father with two kids still at home. For the last 12 years, I’ve owned and operated my own auto detailing business, working hard to provide for my family and be there for every important moment in my children’s lives. I left my oilfield job after my mom passed away so I could be closer to my kids, and I’ve never missed a football game or a rodeo. I’ve always tried to do the right thing, give back to my community, and never give up, no matter how tough things get.

The last two years have been especially hard for my business, and now things have gotten so bad that I can’t keep up with expenses. I’ve spent the last couple of months looking for work in the Alaska oilfields, but right now I’m facing eviction if I can’t come up with the back rent. December and January’s rent are due, and I was told that if I don’t pay the back rent by today, my kids and I will lose our home. This is my last option, and honestly, I’m not comfortable asking for help or putting my struggles out there, but I’ve run out of ideas. Usually, things work out, but this time they just haven’t yet. It’s not easy for me to reach out, especially in a small community.

I truly appreciate all the support my community has given to my business over the years, and I’m continuing to do everything I can to stay open and find a shift change in employment to make that possible. I’m also trying to avoid selling my daughter’s horse, which would be heartbreaking for her. I’m grateful for everything I have, and I’m deeply thankful for any help you can give.
