Help John's cancer treatment

I've known John Knightley for over 20 years and above is a photo of John with me taken in 2017.  More recently I've been in touch with him regularly over the internet and phone, especially during the lockdown. It has also been a joy to visit him on numerous occasions and be a guest at his wedding. You can imagine what a shock it was to hear that he had a lump that needed to be removed. The lump, fibrosarcoma, was removed in July 2021, and treatment continued by radio-therapy and chemo-therapy.

John was born in Leicester and moved to Ashford, Kent as a teenager. In 1991 John first went to work to China and has been living in Nanning, China since 1995. He met his wife, Dongmei, there and they have a son called Enoch. Both John and his wife have chosen to spend their time on things that benefit others rather than take more lucrative paths. Many of their friends there have generously helped at this time and we would to help with the remainder.  

John and his wife are always ready to help others. Now he is in need, and he and his family need our support.

Getting treated in the city that John has lived in for more than 20 years is not only the most expedient way but also probably the most cost effective. Ultimately if more money is raised we would like to sponsor John and his wife and son to travel to the UK and visit his wider family and loved ones over here.
