Help Johnny Williams, owner of Shady’s Porch Pub

Shady’s Porch Pub & Grill destroyed by fire 

Johnny Williams had a plan to retire and invest in the well loved Shady’s Porch Pub & Grill in Angleton that had closed down during the pandemic. He purchased the business and worked hard for months to remodel and bring new life back to the establishment and was able to reopen Shady’s in August of this year. Unfortunately after only 4 months of it’s reopen it was destroyed by a fire early this morning. After review of his business insurance policies he discovered the building was not covered by fire. 

Anyone that knows Johnny Williams knows he is one of the most generous people you will meet, always helping others in any way he can no questions asked. He will give the shirt off his back and has always donated to anyone that comes along his path in need. 

Johnny has not and will not ask for help, that is just not in his nature, so we as his friends have decided to ask the community to help our great friend and local small business owner.
