This week, Johnny & Tina Leatherwood experienced a devastating loss when their home burned to the ground. With no insurance to fall back on, they lost everything they owned in the fire and are now living in a hotel, trying to figure out how to rebuild their lives from scratch. The suddenness of this tragedy has left them without the basic comforts and security of home, and the emotional toll has been immense.

Johnny & Tina are in urgent need of support. They hope to purchase a mobile home to place on their land, which thankfully is paid for, but they also need to furnish it and replace all of their daily essentials. From clothing and medications to cooking supplies, towels, beds, furniture, and a TV, every aspect of their lives must be rebuilt. The Red Cross was able to provide some initial help, but it is not nearly enough to cover the many expenses they now face.
