Help Johnny Stork over come his cancer

I'm trying to assist a dear friend who has recently learned he's got stage IV cancer on his spine in and around his T8. Owing to this illness he has had to cancel contracts that would of helped him tremendously too bounce back financially from some hard times.  As it is, he currently will not have funding for this months rent, or multiple other expenses.
