Help Johnny cover his hospital bills.
Hi, I'm Johnny. I'm 29 years old. I enjoy art, gaming, and Dungeons and Dragons. I have a tendency to over-explain or go on tangents, so I'll try to keep this brief.
On June 27th of this year, I was in the middle of a round of Overwatch when I had a head rush and blacked out. It was late, and I was disoriented and didn't know who to call, so I went to bed. This was determined to be a seizure after the fact, which was new to me since I didn't have a history of them. I was advised to set an appointment with a primary care doctor, which I was working on.
Later on July 11th, I was working from home, in training for a new position at my job, when I had another seizure. Fortunately, my coworkers saw this on camera and called emergency services. I was carted off to the hospital and some tests were run, and I was rushed to surgery on the 15th of July.
It was determined that I have a stage 3 astrocytoma, which is a rare brain cancer in adults.
I'm officially back at work. I have finished my radiation sessions, and I recently finished Speech Therapy.
I am still taking chemotherapy medicine until sometime in April of 2025, and I know new appointments will come up, so I'll keep you all posted.
Thank you again to everyone that has already donated, and thank you to anyone who will donate. This means a lot.
