Help Johnny Scholl Get a Life-Changing Prosthetic

Hello, my name is Camellia, and I'm writing on behalf of my godson, Johnny Scholl and his family. Johnny is a brave 21-year-old who has been facing a life-changing battle with stage 4 alveolar soft part sarcoma, a rare form of cancer that has deeply affected his life. He has a tumor in his left arm, and the cancer has spread to his lungs. Despite the pain and challenges, Johnny has chosen to continue fighting with courage and determination.

On October 24, Johnny will be undergoing surgery to amputate his left arm, a decision that is both heartbreaking and necessary for his well-being. Following the amputation, one of the most immediate and crucial needs for Johnny will be a prosthetic arm. Having this prosthetic will help restore his independence and allow him to regain the ability to perform everyday tasks that most of us take for granted, including continuing his education and pursuing a degree in nursing. While insurance should cover most of his cancer treatments, it will only cover a prosthetic deemed medically necessary, and the cost of a prosthetic arm is significant. We want to make sure that he gets the right prosthetic for his needs.
