Over the last five years, my brother Johnny has not been able to catch a break. He lived through multiple extremely traumatic vehicle accidents he shouldn't have survived and now lives with brain injuries he is left with as a result. The brain injuries have taken him away from what he loves to do and his only form of income, climbing and trimming trees. He is one of the best out there and is now grounded forever due to these injuries. He has been struggling with social security/disability just to have access to the money he has paid into and deserves for the last few months and has been met with one denial after another. He had to retain a lawyer with help from his family and still does not know when he will begin to receive payment. To add insult to injury, on Friday, June 28th, he arrived home to find it completely engulfed in flames. Everything he had to his name was in that home and is a total loss. Thankfully, his dog survived, but now he is left with the clothes on his back, his dog, and no consistent income. Johnny has survived so many tragic events and lived a life that most people couldn't even imagine. Despite that, he is one of the most caring and loving men I've ever met. He loves hard and would give his last dime to someone who needs it more than he does. Please consider donating to help us get him into a new home and start to rebuild his life.
