Help Johnny Rebuild After Life-Changing Accident

Hi everyone, my name is Maria Rosales and I’m the wife of Juan Rosales, or Johnny as many of our friends and family call him, a devoted husband and father of four children, from Mission, Texas. On Thursday, July 3rd, our lives changed forever.

While temporarily working in Columbus, Ohio, Johnny experienced car trouble on his way to work. As he was under his work vehicle dealing with a flat tire, another car struck him. He was rushed to OhioHealth Grant Hospital in critical condition. The responding officer feared the worst, believing it could be a fatal accident, but by the grace of God and Johnny’s incredible strength, he survived.

Johnny sustained severe injuries. His face was deeply cut, one leg required over five hours of surgery to try to save it, and tragically, he lost his right leg at the scene. After a week in the trauma unit and another in a rehabilitation hospital, he’s now on the long road to recovery and preparing for the journey back home to Texas.

Johnny is our family’s sole provider. A hardworking man who installs fire sprinklers and takes pride in being active, hands-on, and always on his feet, this accident has turned our world upside down both emotionally and financially.

We’re humbly asking for help as we navigate this difficult new chapter to assist with medical follow-ups, travel, a prosthetic leg, and the many adjustments ahead.
