Hi everyone, Johnny and Heidi here. We have run into a string of bad luck and are starting to hit bottom.

Johnny lost his job and medical insurance at the end of September and has had a difficult time finding a new job with the government shutdown. He was denied collecting unemployment and has filed for an appeal, but that takes weeks to schedule.

We were setting up to get a loan for a new used car at that time, but that fell through due to the lack of employment. Then our 25-year-old car, the trusty CR-V, finally said she’d had enough and quit. So now we have no transportation.

On top of all of that, Heidi’s health took a turn for the worse. She ended up in the ICU for three days due to the tremendous amount of stress she is experiencing, and since I lost my job, we lost medical insurance. She is currently out of the hospital and trying all types of things to de-stress and move through this horrible situation.

I'm setting up this GoFundMe to help us pay bills and rent for the next month or two. Hopefully, I will be able to land a job real soon and get back on our feet. Right now, we are really struggling. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
