If you are a parent, you can only imagine getting a phone call like this. My nephew, Johnathan, who is proudly serving our country in the U.S. Navy and stationed in Hawaii, was recently in a serious motorcycle accident.

He has sustained multiple injuries including fractures to his spine, damage to his urethra, a cut on his lung, liver injuries, and lacerations on his kidneys, face, legs, and arms. He is currently undergoing emergency procedures and remains in critical care.

During this unimaginably difficult time, all we want is for his father — my brother — to be by his side. Unfortunately, the cost of a last-minute round-trip flight to Hawaii is overwhelming for our family.

We are asking for help to cover travel expenses so that Johnathan’s father can be with him as he fights through this painful recovery. Any donation, no matter the size, will make a huge difference and bring comfort to Johnathan knowing his dad is there.
