Help John with his fight against Brain Cancer

At the end of January, our wonderful and most amazing friend, John, was diagnosed with a Stage 4 Glial Astrocytoma Tumour (Brain Cancer). It’s a rare form of aggressive brain cancer which currently has no cure.

Anyone who knows John will agree that he is a beautiful person with a heart of gold, and always there for those in need offering his love and support.

John and his wife, Jacinta, along with their two adorable girls, Audrey (6) and Olive (4) were only weeks away from commencing the build of their dream home in Gisborne. Like many other plans they had, this had to be cancelled and they are now planning to move closer to the hospital and their families for support throughout this battle. John, the main provider for his family, is now no longer able to work or drive, requiring assistance with transport to and from the many appointments and treatments he’s undergoing.

John and Jacinta have had some incredible support thus far with many meals made (thank you everyone) and shoulders to cry on, now is our time to dig deep and help this beautiful family for the long road ahead. They’re not ones to ask for help however with the many appointments and treatments John has to undergo as well as the daunting task of looking for a new home closer to the hospital, financial strain is the last thing they need.

This family’s world has been turned upside down - no young family should have to go through this and its heartbreaking to see our dear friends endure this struggle.
