Hi everyone! I just want to start this off by thanking you all again for any prayers, lawyer suggestions, legal advice, shares or any other commentary that you guys sent up or gave to us in our time of need, John and his family are forever grateful. I'll give a brief description of what took place in Berkeley MO. on November 30th. John West, a father of two, was taken into custody by Berkeley police, (Eddie Boyd lll), due to a traffic warrant for a different county. About an hour into his incarceration 3 Berkeley police officers, one being officer Eddie Boyd lll (google him) who's had prior misconduct cases https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.huffpost.com/entry/ferguson-eddie-boyd_n_5682454/amp , went into the holding cell and attacked him. The attack left him with a cut and blacked eye, bruised and swollen calves and the most immobilizing thing was a broken right hand and torn tendons in his right thumb (his right hand is his predominant hand) leaving him unable to work. This event took a physical, mental and emotional toll on him and his family for sure but mostly this event has affected his finances. He is the sole provider of his household and sadly we all know that bills and rent don't stop because you aren't able to pay them and Christmas is in a few short weeks. We would like to take this time to ask you guys to donate whatever you can and/or willing to help him and his family in this trying time. Thank you guys for everything! ❤️
