John Waugh, a member of the Central Illinois community, passed away on Tuesday, August 10 after battling both bladder and lung cancer. The Waugh family experienced multiple unforeseen tragedies over the past few months, beginning with John's wife Le Ann passing away unexpectedly in May. Two weeks following the death of his wife, John found out that his body had succumbed to inoperable cancer and was transferred to hospice care to attempt to live his remaining days in peace and comfort. He passed away peacefully in his home after spending his final days in the company of his family.

Surviving are John's three children, Matthew, Ashley, and Courtney, and his four grandchildren. John loved his family dearly.

Providing adequate care for John during for the remaining days of his life, while also finding means to cover the costs of Le Ann's funeral service has left his family struggling to find the funds to finance John's funeral costs. I have started this fundraiser to collect donation's for John Waugh's funeral expenses.

John's funeral will take place on Tuesday, August 17 , and his children will be in charge of the final expenditures in which the funds raised from this campaign will go to. Please consider donating if you are able to do so. We are incredibly grateful for every donation during this time.
