Last night, something truly shocking happened in Springfield. I witnessed a white SUV slow down by Dollar General, and someone threw a dog out of the moving vehicle into traffic. Without hesitation, I stopped and picked him up, making sure he was safe. I also filed a police report with Springfield to make sure this was documented.

This sweet dog, who I’ve named John, is now safe and starting a new chapter. He loves kids, has a gentle personality, and is already showing so much resilience despite what he’s been through. This was completely unexpected, and I want to do everything I can to give him the healthy, happy life he deserves.
