Hello my name is John Stone and I'm having A very difficult time with medical bills and just every day living. In 2020 I had A stroke. At that time I was diagnosed with emphysema, diabetes and high blood pressure. I'm very grateful I'm alive after the stroke. God was truly watching over me that day. And I'm grateful my son was able to rush me to the hospital. I was not able to work enough to keep up with my mounting medical bills. So I took early retirement at 62. That wasn't enough to keep ahead of everyday life plus medical expenses. I went back to work because I just didn't want to lose the things I worked hard for. After 45 years of hard work I was feeling like it was over. I could no longer work the way I was working. I needed to slow down. The bills keep coming. So I went back to work part time 25 hours a week most of the time. A little more occasionally. I knew if I didn't go back to work again I would have to sell the things I enjoy and had planned on doing when I fully retired. My Harley gives me freedom and peace when I'm riding. And I don't want to not be able to enjoy life a little bit after working all the years that I have.

My medical issues have gotten worse and I don't think I'll be able to work at all in a year or 2. I've tried very hard to keep up with bills but it just seems like their is no end to it. I am very grateful for the donors who have helped me so far. Asking for help and admitting to myself that I'm not able to do those things like I used to is the hardest thing I have ever had to do. So again I thank God for keeping me alive and my doctor's of course. And I thank people who care.
