Help John Simons' Family Stay in Their Home

Hi, my name is Mike Kingsley, and I am desperately trying to keep my dear friend and his family in their home after a freak accident has made him unable to work for up to three months.

John Simons is a man of God first and foremost, a devoted husband, great father, and a true friend. He is a gifted musician, promoter and leader.

Last Sunday evening (10/13/24) John was headed home on his motorcycle. Another driver in a vehicle over a crest was attempting to pull into a parking lot, and was stopped perpendicular across Johns lane waiting to enter the parking lot. As John traveled over the crest, he saw the vehicle in his lane, and praise God he reacted quickly and avoided directly hitting this car, and potentially losing his life in the crash. John swerved away from the car and layed his bike down, jumping off as it fell. So the bike was safe, the car was safe, and John...well John landed on his feet, but at a speed his knee could not handle. Thanks to God's presence, John has not suffered a broken bone, or even a scratch. Unfortunately, his tendons and ligaments in his leg took the brunt of the force, and gave way. Torn away from his knee, he will require at least 10 weeks to walk again. Currently unable to put any weight on his leg, in fact, he can't sit or even lay down without pain.

His motorcycle insurance doesn't cover medical, and his claim was denied by the other drivers insurance since both vehicles are undamaged. His medical insurance (we are praying) will help with his medical bills, but it will not cover his mortgage or utilities, or other bills of a family of seven (yes 5 kids).

Please help us keep this family in their home until my friend John is back on his feet. Don't let this be a devastating accident. And please Keep John, Kim, Ethan, Tristan, Maddie, James, and Abbie in your prayers.
