For the 2nd time, I am riding my bicycle across the United States. Is it a crazy idea? Most people would say "yes!"

• I was 22 years old the first time: Crazy #1. TransAmerican Trail, 4000 miles

• I want to do it again: Crazy #2. (When I tell people, I get blank stares.)

• I am now 65 years old: Crazy #3. Northern Tier, 4400 miles, 80 days. And most people would think it impossible.

WHY AGAIN? "Do Your EPIK" aims to raise awareness & funds for organizations that support aging Seniors & others who are in need....emphasizing the importance of physical activity & healthy living, while highlighting the benefits of regular activity thus improving the physical & mental well-being of fellow human beings.

My ride this Summer is far less about me pushing pedals. This ride is for those who really, really need our help. I want to do my part. The ride is difficult. But, far less than those facing these health issues. Can you please help me, and in turn, them? Your giving, large or small, will change lives, and speak from our hearts that "We DO care." You and I.
