Hello, my name is Lea and I am starting this GoFundMe to help our friends, John and Rebecca. John had emergency surgery for a perforated ulcer on August 17th. He experienced many complications and spent a total of 18 days on a ventilator. He has had multiple infections and has been in ICU for over a month. I don’t think it is overstating it to say we almost lost him. He is doing much better and is working on getting his strength back. Rebecca has been with him every step of the way, doing all she can to help him pull through. We are all thankful for his life and continued improvement!

 

He will be able to return home after the doctors release him, but the home they live in is not suited for someone who is going to be struggling with mobility issues. They need to make some modifications before John can come home since there is no bathroom on the main level of the home. HERE’S WHERE WE CAN HELP! They need help paying for a stair lift and some of the medical bills. I have started this GoFundMe at $5000, but I believe we can go over that. John has months of healing ahead of him and they will need all of us to support them. Please help in any way you can. No amount is too small!
