Help John Acquire an Emotional Support Animal
Hi everyone. I just wanted to first say thank you for all of you that have been there and supported me since my neurological disorder hit last September. It means so much to me how much your thoughts and prayers kept me going. I’m still struggling day to day with FND and it’s hard to describe what I’ve been going through. Unfortunately, it will be months until I can see a neuropsychologist as they are booked many months into the future.
My neurologist and therapist have said that getting an emotional support animal would greatly help on my road to recovery and we have found a dog that will help me. His name is Ace and he’s coming up from Texas and as most of you know, I haven’t been able to work since this happened. It’s been a struggle to make ends meet as my wife’s income has kept us afloat and the contributions from many of you. I am asking for some assistance in acquiring and maintaining Ace as animals cost a lot to take care of.
Any and all donations and contributions will go a long way in helping us keep Ace so he can help me with my road to recovery. Having an emotional support animal like Ace will help me from day to day with controlling my episodes and my psychological issues that come with FND like heightened anxiety and pain as well as memory issues.
Thank you all again and I can’t tell you how much all your love and support has meant to me. I can’t wait to meet Ace and have him be a part of my family as well as act as emotional support for my ailment.
