Help Jason and his rescue dogs from losing home

On August 16th, Jason was the victim of a vicious assault, which put him in the hospital. It took 6 hours of emergency surgery to repair his broken leg with two rods - his hip and femur were shattered into multiple pieces -(comminuted femur fractures). At best, these serious injuries will take 9 to 12 months to heal. After 4 days in the hospital, he was released to go home to his second-floor apartment where he lives alone with his two beloved rescue dogs. Jason has no family within 3000 miles of him and is unable to get around or take care of himself. He is in extreme pain, both emotionally and physically. And the thought that he can't provide for and may lose his best friends, his dogs, is heart shattering.

He has suffered serious lasting injuries, which affect his ability to work and take care of himself and his dogs. As a result, he cannot pay his rent or pay expenses with no source of income as he is self-employed. He hasn't the money to take care of himself or his dogs and he may be forced to place the dogs with a rescue. One little dog he found after witnessing it thrown out of a car by a lake in a remote mountain area. The pup chased the speeding away car as it's heartless owners left him far behind. It took Jason two days to catch the frightened and bewildered puppy. But Jason never gave up. Since then, "Louie" has been Jason's constant companion. His second dog was living with a homeless drug addict and had been very abused. A kind family took this puppy in, but couldn't keep her, so Jason adopted her last winter.

The whole situation is overwhelming and he is now suffering from debilitating PTSD from his attack, and struggling to make it through each day.
