Help my Bro John recover - seizure broke his leg (surgery)

My name is Matthew, and I am a disabled veteran who was paralyzed (T-3) while on State Active Duty fighting wild fires down in the Green Swamp area of Florida during my service in the Florida National Guard back in 2000, but this is not about me.
Today, I am reaching out to ask for help for my younger brother John. He's had epilepsy since he was 11 months old and is now in his early 40s, with Grand Mal seizures being the most violent and most frequent. Last week, he suffered a seizure so intense that it fractured his right kneecap and broke his tibia (the lower bone in the leg). He needed surgery to repair his leg, with bolts and plates placed on both sides to stabilize the bone while it heals and such. The X-rays are in the main image. Front and side. he still has a fractured knee cap.

John is now facing a long and difficult recovery many have faced. He has two boys one of which is set to gradate Highschool this year - I know that it weighs heavy on John as he probably will not be able to attend due to recent events. Then add The medical bills from his hospital stays, surgery, and rehab facility are already overwhelming him and his family. He is currently in a rehabilitation facility while he heals as well as to regain his strength and mobility. John’s home is not accessible for a wheelchair / walker, so he will need specialized medical equipment when he is able to return home. The costs are mounting, and it’s more than our / his family can manage alone.

I am doing something I rarely do and asking for HELP. I understand in these times every bodies got their something and I am truly greatly thankful to all who decide to help my younger brother who has helped me throughout the years of my paralysis. Your support will go directly toward John’s medical bills, rehab, rehab stay, and the equipment he needs to mend and regain his independence. John and his family are even more grateful, as your Kindness to Help is one less thing for them to worry about during this difficult time. I thank you for considering a donation and for being part of his journey towards recovery. I encourage him and whatever you maybe going through in your life to continue to "See It Through." -Edgar A. Sincerely,
-Matthew
