Help John Rebuild After Losing Everything in a Fire
Meet my good friends, John and Lex. Colleen and I got to know these guys 6 or 7 years ago when they were running a small handyman business. A couple of years ago, I helped them open up an auto mechanic shop in a warehouse I own in Heber called Highway 40 Garage. These two are the most amazing guys and have become very close friends of mine. They have both risen out of incredibly tough circumstances (and all kinds of setbacks in life) to get to where they are today. They are very talented mechanics and their shop is starting to thrive, although still trying to get established.
And then yesterday (May 8), John's trailer (his home) burned down, taking everything he owned, including $10,000 in cash that he hadn't yet deposited in the bank, and most heartbreakingly, his beloved dog, Sadie. John has been living in a trailer behind Lex’s house as they pour everything they’ve got into their business. This fire is a devastating blow to an awesome guy who has already sacrificed so much to move his life forward.
Please join me in helping him to get back on his feet, especially since he has no insurance. Every dollar raised will go directly toward helping John recover — to replace his basic needs, help him get housing, and keep the dream of Highway 40 Garage alive. Let’s show John that he’s not alone!
