Hello I am Ian, and my dad, John Meehan, needs help paying for cancer treatment and associated medical bills.

Back in June of this year, doctors found a mass in John's, AKA "Sticky," abdomen during routine scans. After a biopsy, John was found to have cancer (melanoma) in his abdomen.

Following the discovery, John's oncologist made a plan to fight the cancer using immune therapy. The treatment would last for 4 months, and they would re-scan to check the size of the mass after the first round of treatment.

Treatment was going well until mid September, when John started having reactions to his treatment and began having heart palpitations. After a visit with his oncologist, John was admitted to the hospital for stress to his cardiopulmonary system.

On September 26th John was discharged from Newport Medical Center, but the medical supplies he needed, like oxygen, are not covered under his insurance. With the cost of cancer treatment as well as unforeseen medical bills, we need help.

John is a well-known graphic designer and automotive fanatic who started his career in paint back in his early 20s. He is well known for his appearances in the show Overhaulin', as well as a 1997 Indy Car award presented by PPG for the "Best Use of Color and Design."
