Help John and Family Get Though This Medical Crisis
Donation protected
Dear Friends and Family,
It's with sadness and hope that we share with you that John Mese had a stroke on June 5th. He woke up in the early morning and found himself paralyzed, unable to move the right side of his body or face, and unable to talk. He was admitted via ambulance to Providence Little Company of Mary Hospital in Torrance and is currently in the Intensive Care Unit. We are astonished and grateful to say that John is already surpassing the team of ICU medical doctors’ expectations. The neurologist even said his progress so far is a miracle based on the type of stroke he had. We want to think this is because of John's strong will.
John has always been very outgoing, quick to help others, kind, and courageous in his personal life as well as in his professional career. He is a man with a big, big heart. John, Dawn, and Kelsey are an amazing family, and they now need our support more than ever. While John is in the hospital receiving care to recover, their new journey is just beginning. The hope is for John to be accepted into an acute care rehab hospital where he will stay for several weeks and get 3 hours of intensive therapy a day. After his stay at the rehabilitation facility, he will then have ongoing outpatient physical, occupational, and speech therapy. We know John is already facing this challenge with determination, but we don't know what the next several months or even years look like.
As John, Dawn, and Kelsey navigate this hurdle together, there will be the financial burden that comes with medical expenses and basic living costs during this challenging time. We are reaching out to ask for your help in supporting John and his family. If you are able, please consider making a donation to help cover their living expenses and medical costs. No amount is too small, and every contribution will go a long way in easing the family’s burden as John, Dawn, and Kelsey focus on his health and recovery.
Thank you for your love, support, and kindness during this difficult time. Let’s come together to show John, Dawn, and Kelsey what they mean to us.
With sincere gratitude,
Tanya Rodriguez
