Help John Lewis After House Fire
When I think about my uncle, I think about a selfless man who takes care of everyone before himself. He has left an indelible mark on the Port Washington community as a firefighter and local business owner. He protected New York City as a police officer in the 108th precinct.
Sadly, early on Christmas morning, my uncle’s house burned down in an electrical fire. This house was so special to all of us. It first belonged to our grandparents, and it was the house my uncle and his siblings all grew up in. It was the house my uncle raised his boys in. And while we can’t replace many of the items lost, as they were sentimental pieces belonging to our grandparents, we can help to support him to rebuild to create new memories.
Please consider helping him, just like he has helped so many in his life. Any amount would be so deeply appreciated, as he lost everything in the fire. Thank you!
