I have looked after and considered John Lee a friend for over 25 years now. He is homeless living in a van and has mental issues, but is harmless and kind hearted. He is the hardest worker I know and stays out of trouble. On Thursday he was robbed of his wallet and beat to a pulp. It saddens me that some people took advantage of a special needs 71 year old man minding his own business.
