Help John Latwen Power Through Winter

Donation protected
Our friend John Latwen has lived in a trailer on the Oquossoc Camp Ground for over ten years. This year, the campground owner shut off John's electricity and has left for Florida for the winter leaving John with no power. We've tried to get CMP to turn John's power back on, but CMP won't do it as the owner has refused to give them permission to do so.

We have given John a gas generator to get by, but this is only a stopgap solution. John wants to buy a DIY solar system so he can have electricity for the long, dark winter months. We are helping John find the right solar solution, and we are estimating it will cost around $4500. If you would like to chip in, John would greatly appreciate it as he has no savings to speak of.

John is many things: a vet, a senior citizen, a guide, a carpenter, an occasional pain in the ass, a kind dog owner, and a good soul. What he is not is someone who should be left in the dark by a cruel landlord. Please help out if you can.
