Help John Kennedy, Servant Leader in Need

Reverend John Kennedy is an ordained Christian Pastor, former-police officer that has been serving his community for 39 years. He is someone that gives without hesitation to others. Reverend John served as a policeman in Austin, Texas for 12 years (1985-1997). He felt a calling to the ministry and resigned his police officer commission. As a civil servant, John was admired, respected and decorated. After a solid police career, he earned his B.A. Degree at Elmhurst University, Magna Cum Laude, double majoring in Theology and Philosophy (Ethics) then went on to earn his Masters of Divinity at Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary. Reverend Kennedy was awarded the outstanding Preacher award. As a pastor he served in Kentucky, Wisconsin, Michigan and Missouri. John has served as a volunteer Police/Fire Chaplain for over 20 years. He served where he was sent spreading the faith. He is loved by his parishioners and makes himself available 24/7. John preaches practical Christ-centered principles for everyday life. John's goal in life is to provide service to those around him. He leads by example; maintains open communications through active empathetic listening; and works toward helping others become the best version of themselves. He devotes hundreds of hours each week/month to his congregation and the community.

Over the past year, John has experienced significant health challenges and surgeries that threaten his mobility. Daily he fights through physical pain that would defeat many of us. If you know John, you know that he is not one to ask for assistance. On his walk with Christ, John is a generous cheerful giver. Now is the opportunity for those that know him or those that wished they did, to offer support. Pastors are not financially wealthy professions with big paychecks and retirement accounts.
