Dear Friends and Family,

I never thought I’d be in a position where I’d have to write something like this. But the past 8 months have been brutal. I’ve been out of work since August and my unemployment ran out 3 months ago and I depleted my small IRA months ago. I’ve been applying for jobs constantly and interviewing a ton but nothing’s come through yet.

As you know the tech sector is in free fall right now and there are tons of people out of work. Despite my extensive experience in UX and Web Design, I’m stuck in a very bad place.

I’m 3 months behind rent at this point, and my landlord is calling daily and I’m going to lose my apartment if I don’t come up with something in the next 48 hours.

I’m humbled to ask but do you know of any work leads out there? I’ve built ux’ed and designed websites for major brands, my graphic design has been in the Smithsonian, and I’ll do anything to stay afloat at this point.

If you know of any opportunities, freelance, part time, odd jobs, even manual labor I’ll do it. I’d be happy to build you a website create a portrait of your loved one, pet, your home, signage for your business, paint you a mural, be your hired driver, house keeping, laundry, child care, animal care, anything at this point.

I’ve set up a Gofundme for these difficult times, so if you can help in any way I’d appreciate it. No amount is too small, no job is too odd. I’m happy to do anything.

I hate having to ask for help but I’ve exhausted all avenues at this point.
