Hi my name is Lanny,

I am a close family friend of John. For everyone that knows the family especially John, he is always there for others, he lends a hand to anyone who needs it.

On Saturday the 14th October 2023 while at work John became very unwell and very quickly, his colleagues called an ambulance. It took a turn for the worst and Upon arrival at TCH, John was showing all signs of a stroke, over the next few hours the family was given the devastating and life changing news John had suffered from two strokes with one being a Ischaemic Medulla brainstem stroke, which is the worst outcome stroke.

John's recovery is going to be extremely long and the family has been told John may not make a full recovery, he is looking at weeks in the TCH acute stroke unit and then will be moved to Rehab where he will learn use his left side again.

With no finances coming into the household as John is unable to work and Michelle Being by John's side,

I am asking that we all come together for John even a small donation will help with his recovery. This fund-raiser is to help with finances, and day to day as the family navigates through this terrible sad Journey.
