Support for John Hoehne and Family After Amputation Surgery

Hello, my name is John Hoehne, and I’ve been battling diabetes for over 20 years. On Monday, March 24, 2025, I underwent a life-changing surgery, resulting in the amputation of my right leg above the knee. This surgery is a difficult step in my journey, and as I face these challenges, my family is also navigating a significant change in our lives.

I’m a proud graduate of Penn State University and have spent the past 20 years working in Human Resources. Throughout my career, I've dedicated myself to helping others, and now, I’m asking for your support as I face one of the biggest challenges of my life.

I’m engaged to my loving fiancé, Ashley, and together we have two beautiful children. With my amputation, our lives will be drastically changed, both physically and financially. While I’m currently on short-term disability as I recover, we anticipate that our medical bills will be overwhelming. In the near future, I will need a prosthetic to help regain mobility, which will come with additional costs.

The financial burden of medical expenses, prosthetics, and living expenses while I’m unable to work is something that we cannot bear alone. That’s why I’m reaching out to you for help.
