On Friday, August 15, our family’s world was shattered in a tragic ATV accident. John and his wife, Tia, were riding together when the accident occurred. John survived with serious injuries, but heartbreakingly, Tia did not.

John and Tia both devoted their lives to helping others—John as a volunteer firefighter and Tia as an off-duty Emergency Medical Responder (EMR). They shared a passion for service and community, always ready to show up when people needed them most. Tia’s passing leaves an enormous hole in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved her.

As John begins the long road of physical and emotional healing, he is also facing overwhelming financial burdens. Medical expenses from his injuries, the cost of laying Tia to rest, and the loss of her support weigh heavily during this already devastating time.
